Vital Connection

As we are called to share the story of our learning, we remain curious about what will be revealed in The Space Between. There is a sense that much will be revealed as we courageously walk into the question of how cultures of learning are co-created. We are called to commit to the guiding intention that this culture is made of autopoietic systems.

As we define "Vital" for ourselves, we recognise the life-giving qualities of "vita." There is energy there, a sense of Infinite Potential. A feeling that it is essential for our existence; we are born with this innate capacity to create, co-create and re-create.

The meaning of "Connection" draws forth a desire to be bonded with another, in relationship. In being connected, we hope to retain the freedom of our personal power. The process of co-creation emerges through the sharing of meaning, guided by a Sacred Intention.

Buddha has been misquoted to say that "All of life is suffering." While exploring the true meaning of "dukkha," a new meaning emerged, of separation. "All of life is separation" represents a statement of the disconnection experienced when we forget that we are all universally connected. The antidote to dukkha is "sukkha," a sense that we are becoming reconnected to ourselves and others as one being.

It is in this authentic belonging, that we might discover our rightful place, where we experiment with boundaries and strength of self and others. It is where we play with a shared language to develop trust as a reciprocal relationship. It is where we retain agency as we create our identities, practice personal power and experience freedom.

In this autopoietic relationship, we are consciously aware of our interconnectivity, a need for humour and a sense of humility. The co-creation of a culture of learning requires intentionality, relationship and incisiveness. All of this, we suggest begins with valuing, practicing and experiencing curiosity, courage and commitment.
