True Self

In kundalini yoga, it is a common practice to vitalize your life spirit, the prana, using intentional breathing guided by a mantra 'satnam'. This mantra defines the inention of the practice, that which translates as 'true name or identity', that of the divine within. The _true self_.

We have come to recognize the potential when we practice Deep Listening with each other. In this process, we trust others to see our Tender Self, that little five year old within us, that self that wonders without fear.

We call forth the power of this truth, one that is sacred and is the wellspring of our Creative Genius. Sensing this true self and having it sense by others, is the foundation from which trust emerges, trust that we sense is the cornerstone of all generative systems.
