Tender Self

Within us all is our child, that five year old that is filled with wonder that wants to learn with excitement and joy.

But, for most of us, that tender self that has become locked away, deep inside, to be protected from the pain we have suffered in a life where our sense of belonging has been threatened by the judgement of others.

Every time we have felt judged and rejected that child gets further locked away. We learn to cope by developing an ego-based persona. The greater the hurt, the greater the persona that is created.

We hide away our story, we hide away our potential behind a Shadow Curtain. We tell ourselves that we are not creative.

Unless, that is, we are lovingly invited into a place where we can begin to voice our story where there is Deep Listening – a place where we are able to understand and voice our Deep Truths.

Where we can be healed into a whole that holds creative potential, a potential that can be woven with others to allow something amazing to emerge, an overflowing joy sensed.
