There is a time when we must prepare the soil. This can be hard work, long work, work that is done simply in faith. Faith that the seeds that will be planted will come alive – will flourish.
As we prepare, we are sustained by hope. Hope that there will be a new becoming. Even where doubts appear, we keep preparing, even though our arms are tired and our backs may hurt.
Gardens are not just created in the imagination, but in the soil, one day at a time.
