Model in People's Heads

We ponder David Wood's words: "Everything below the line of representation is a model in people's heads."

Here we stand at the edge of the known looking into the unknown. Into the darkness.

For how are we ever to know the models in other people's heads, models that they quickly access with an intuition honed by years of expertise, ones that are opaque to others?

Wisdom lies in that darkness. Wisdom that we must seek out. Wisdom we must strive to illuminate.

That is the quest of El Dorado that we are on. One that asks Are We a Model or a Document?
