Markov Monkey

We allow a monkey to explore the wiki, seeking to learn from it.

This monkey is imaginary, exploring through clicks defined by conditional probability. There is no memory in this monkey, nor any future path envisioned, simply decisions, made in the moment, based on probability and rules.

We see this monkey Coming Alive.

We sense important lessons here as Markov chains knit together and form patterns called 'blankets' in which new meaning might emerge: morphogenesis experienced.

And helps us experience Markov blankets as regions of Bayesian networks – semantic in nature – in which there is the potential for this emergence.
