A caterpillar holds cells within it that lie dormant until the moment an hormone switches them on. These cells are called 'imaginal cells'. Once they are activated, they become the new parts of a new form, a butterfly that will be released to fly.
They unfold toward an image of a mature butterfly, an aspirational intention, an 'imago'.
An image of the imago, that which we, with our creative imagination, can hold in our mind's eye to guide a transformation, that which begins with a process Autopoietic Regeneration.
We have referred to this imagining as a North Star, that which defines an Audacious Aspiration.
That which guides us into unknowns, Dancing at the Edge, in uncomfortable phase transitions between the unknown and the known, chaos and order.
Becoming new. Becoming alive, courageously guiding others into their brilliant greatness.
