Emergent Self

In the recent demo day for the Woodcrest DIG, Penny revealed that this learning experience allowed her to understand a part of her that she was interested in exploring further – an artistic side.

We reflect on the nature of this process, one that challenges learners to learn about themselves, to become, in a sense, philosophers, where knowledge becomes woven by experience into self wisdom – a wisdom the helps someone know only who they are but who they might become.

Allowing the self to create, forming the basis of new autopoietic systems.
