Beginner's Mind

We seek to sustain a beginner's mind.

A mind filled with wonder, the mind of a learner. One that is able to courageously Walk into the Unknown.

For it is with that mind that one might be surprised. Surprised by that which is outside of that which we expected, that which sits within our current understanding of the world.

An understanding that expands our Semantic Network, that which Piaget called the 'schema' and Friston called the 'generative model'.

For in that surprise we see new connections, connection that form new patterns of meaning, emergent bounded meaning in Markovian Moments.

Meaning that ignites new wonders, illuminating our path forward.
